This function allows you to create or maintain tabular data, but only descriptions are maintained. 

The tables that can be maintained in this way, are those tables that are maintainable within the menu item, Setup Table-Maintenance. You should only attempt to process tables that are primarily descriptive. Thus, Table 37 that contains freight rates, cannot be processed, whereas Table 03 that contains Product Group codes can readily be processed. The table numbers that can be processed are constantly updated – you will receive an error message if you attempt to load an “unacceptable” table.

The code that must be entered in the MLE box is: TABLE, nn, SKIPDUP

Where nn is the Table Number and is obviously mandatory. The string SKIPDUP is optional and may be included to skip all input that is already on file. If it is not supplied, and the corresponding entry is found on file, then only the description is updated.
